ANTONINI NAVI
2024/08/06Antonini Navi returns to the French show held from September 10 to 15, where the boat builder will be exhibiting scale models of the three yachts under construction at the company’s La Spezia Shipyard: Explorer Yacht 32 M, Seamore 34 – both already sold – and the Suy 135, on which work has begun “on spec”
Antonini Navi, a company specialising in the superyacht sector and founded in 2020 by Gruppo Antonini in partnership with Aldo Manna, returns to the Cannes Yachting Festival held this year from September 10 to 15 with a dedicated stand, where it will showcase scale models of the units currently under construction at the brand’s La Spezia shipyard.
They include the Explorer Yacht 32 M, with exteriors designed by Hydro Tec and interiors by Hot Lab. This 32-metre steel and aluminium yacht is the perfect combination of comfort, long range and the ability to take any sea conditions in its stride, all wrapped up in an appealing, modern design. Delivery is planned for 2025.
Seamore 34, on the other hand, is the first model in a “semi-custom” steel and aluminium series, with delivery planned once again in 2025. The yacht’s concept, based on highly versatile and flexible spaces, puts the emphasis on open areas that create uniquely convivial settings where guests can share experiences. One of the most appealing features of the Seamore 34 is the generous main deck offering over 150 square metres of open living area, which can also be closed off by recessed sliding glass doors flush with the deck.
Currently under construction on spec at the La Spezia shipyard and slated for delivery in 2026, the SUY 135 is a 44-metre superyacht with a tonnage of about 480 GT. This displacement yacht is the first in the new line of Sports Utility Yachts (SUY). Exactly like a SUV in the automotive world, the idea is to create a yacht that offers an all-embracing approach to life on board. The Sport Utility Yacht concept is designed for a new yachting lifestyle that includes marine activities, water sports and adventure, helping the owner and guests discover the world around them.
“This past year has been one of great satisfaction for us and we’re excited to be going to Cannes. Our shipyard has four construction slots, and one is still free for new projects. The Cannes Yachting Festival is the ideal event to showcase our production and engineering capabilities to the industry as a whole,” said Antonini Navi Partner and sales director Aldo Manna.
At the Antonini Navi stand, the shipyard’s management will be on hand to meet new customers interested in the construction of made-to-measure custom yachts. The management team will once again include Walter Antonini, the brand's marketing and communication manager and a member of the fourth generation of the Antonini family. After gaining extensive international experience in China, Walter has returned to Italy to play a hands-on role in the shipyard’s activities and at the start of July was appointed Gruppo Antonini Innovation and Transition manager, with a focus on the company’s technological evolution and sustainability.
