EVO R4

Ten years on from the launch of the first R4, Evo Yachts presents the world premiere of the new R4 Icone, featuring liveability and comfort at the very highest level provided by generous, warm, light filled spaces and a longer hull.

The exterior styling is sleek and muscular, in keeping with the Shipyard’s traditional approach, and the colour scheme reprises the livery of the first model, alternating black with the orange upholstery, while the Main Deck features a console based on automotive design, with a sofa offering various configurations for the best possible ergonomics. The stern area is fitted with Bezenzoni’s XT system and below deck there are two double cabins.

Evo Yachts is also exhibiting its R+ model at the show.

Evo Yachts celebrates the 10th anniversary of the launch of the first Evo R4 with a model that pays tribute to the shipyard’s history, at the same time as taking a new step forward towards an on-board experience increasingly focused on comfort, without however betraying the brand’s sporty spirit and the desire to offer maximum flexibility and customisation options.

This model is the new R4 Icone, which will be given its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival, featuring a hull about a metre longer than the original version, an aggressive bow, a new integrated design for the air intakes, and large windows in the hull sides that flood the interiors with natural light.

Designed by the Shipyard jointly with Valerio Rivellini to offer an incredibly comfortable and convenient lifestyle on board at any time of the year, while maintaining the boat’s dynamic performance, Evo Yachts’ new model has a main deck with an enclosed area covered by an aluminium hard top – built entirely by the Shipyard – and a console clearly based on automotive design, featuring a large C-shaped sofa with a backrest that can be arranged to offer either a forward- or rear-facing view, and a pilot seat that can be adjusted to various heights for perfect ergonomics. The living area contains a table that can be converted into a double bed and is completed by a kitchen unit, while a pantograph door provides easy access to the outside area. The XT platform at the stern, developed by the Shipyard jointly with

Besenzoni, extends the surface area aft and brings it closer to the water, increasing the space and comfort on board and transforming the setting into a seafront terrace that can be configured and furnished as desired, to enjoy in different ways at different times of day.

Below deck, in addition to the fridge and storage area and a hallway, there are two large enclosed double cabins. The interiors are decorated and furnished to transmit a feeling of great warmth, achieved through the use of Alcantara, Alpi wood and various types of materials that share an appealing texture.

The yacht is powered by two Volvo IPS 650 engines, each with an output of 480 horsepower.

Like all Evo Yachts models, this boat too, which draws on ten years of experience and is the result of a process of continuous range improvement, can be customised in many different ways – including both the interior and exterior layout – for different types of owner, from families to groups of friends, and for different needs, from people who love spending time in the open air, to those who enjoy the cruising experience in winter.

Also on display at the Evo Yachts stand, the R+ is the 18-metre yacht designed around the two concepts of conviviality and versatility, ideal for long stays on board. The edgy black aluminium top heightens the appeal of a profile that echoes sports car design. The helm station is completely surrounded by glazing with openings that provide natural ventilation. Also on the main deck, the living area has a versatile lounge, a fully appointed galley and a dining table, while on the lower deck the second galley is fitted with a wine cabinet and refrigerator.

The stern area features a special platform that makes it easy to enter the water and to launch and haul up a tender or jet ski.

Below deck, the lines are clean, simple and angular, the spaces are furnished with sophisticated materials, and the colour palette is a harmonious blend of three colours and materials: white, teak and carbon.

The Lower Deck offers three cabins, two bathrooms and a dinette area, as well as a crew cabin with independent access, and the yacht is powered by two Volvo Penta IPS 950 engines.
